Cooper Natural Resources, Inc. (CNR) was incorporated in December of 1996 and was comprised of the Ozark Division which manufactures and sells sodium sulfate throughout North America and Mexico. In October of 2004, CNR entered a joint venture with Giles Chemical to form Saltex, LLC, a U.S. based marketer of synthetic sodium sulfate which serves the North American market. In March, 2006 Energy Services Group (ESG) was acquired. It supplies commodity chemicals to oil and gas production and service companies.

Cooper Natural Resources has three industry leading divisions dealing with sodium sulfate production, specialty chemicals and consumer products.
